Rattle, Rattle

I'm sure this is mostly uncoordinated movement, but it is so cute.

25th Percentile

Today, Eloise turned 2 months old and we went to the doctor for her check-up. She is doing just great and gaining weight wonderfully. She now weighs 9lbs. 7oz. and is 21 3/4 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for her age and weight. She's small, but well proportioned the doc said. All the nurses ooed and awed over how beautiful and sweet she is. She also had to get her immunizations today and my heart broke to see her cry in pain. She has been sleeping ever since and cries when I have to wake her up to eat. So, she is sharing a couch snuggle with me and I hope she feels better soon.

Happy Valentines Day!

We're sending out lots of love to all our family and friends. The day was another good one and we had a nice time at church unlike my previous bad experience. Eloise showed off her cuteness and everyone was amazed by how happy and content she was.



Today Ellie rolled onto her side. Brian laid her down flat on her back and a few minutes later we checked her and noticed she was on her side. I wish I would have seen her maneuverings. Usually she is not so mobile. She'll flail her arms and legs and raise her head, but never has she turned her whole body. She is growing up so fast.

Baby Blessing

We blessed our little one last Sunday, Feb 7th and the blessing was beautiful. Thanks for all the family that could be there. I am quite worn out though.

Its A Buoy!

Aslinn was taking a bath with Eloise yesterday (no pictures obviously), and Aslinn discovered an amazing talent that Eloise has. She is buoyant! Which means -
1. Tending to float in fluid
2. Capable of keeping a body afloat, as a liquid
3. Not easily depressed, Cheerful
4. Cheering or invigorating

So she is buoyant in both ways.
So back to the bath. As long as we hold Eloise's head, the rest of her floats. She was having such a good time floating around and kicking mommy. So this is yet another way that my girls are alike.

Eloise is still a very happy baby (See the adorable picture of her smile a few posts below), and she has the ability to make those around her light up.
