March Cuteness

Eloise loves her new bows that a friend of mine taught me how to make.

Eloise had been growing so fast. This week she grew into her 3 month clothes...and grew out of them. I have all these cute clothes that she has never worn and now she doesn't fit into. I guess I'll just have to have another girl.

This week Eloise has been so talkative. It is amazing how she goes to sleep at night and when she wakes up she has learned something new.

It has been a struggle going to work. Not only do I have to get used to staying up all night again, but I miss Ella so much when I do. It surprised me especially how much I missed breast feeding her every 3 hours. Some people come off orientation next month and so I'm hoping that I'll be able to go to half time cause I can't keep this up much longer. (I've only done one week of 3 nights, but it was too much). I love being a mother though. It is a full time job plus endless overtime with endless love. Brian does so well with Ella while I work and I don't have to worry so much. Our partnership works out great.

Our Expert

We are still learning about Eloise, and it amazes me how much personality she already has. I have noticed a few things over the past few months about her and wanted to share a realization with ya'll.

Sometimes Eloise will be fussie while I am changing her, or will even just poop all over her clothes, sometimes before I can even get them on her. I thought it was because she enjoyed the freedom of not being restrained by a diaper, but I think there may be another reason, which I am now beginning to understand. Ella is a fashion expert. A few examples will illustrate this

1. She loves clothes. If Ella gets fussy I will take her into our closet and she will stop fussing and stare at Aslinn's clothes. There isn't much which will stop her fussy fits (which are few and far between, she is such a great baby), but Aslinn's clothes do.

2. She seems to enjoy watching "What Not To Wear" with Aslinn.

3. She has started grabbing onto our clothes. This may be because she is trying to get a better look at them, really enjoys the material, or is critical of my fashion sense and trying to tell me to "get rid of this!"

All of this has led me to realize that Eloise is defiling her clothes because I have not picked out clothes that she wanted to wear. Probably because they don't go together. Silly dad!

This picture also makes me think that I will be in trouble in a few years.

I can already picture her saying "Daddy, can I have a bajillion dollars to go to the store? Thanks!"

Eloise Smiling

This is probably one of the cutest things you will ever see, at least until Eloise does another cute thing!
